Looking at the work experience and educational background of these women employees in the leadership, they seem mature in both respects. Looking at the educational background, some of them have educational qualifications up to master’s level in two different subjects. Apart from this, in terms of work experience, they have enough experience of working in important departments for 10 to 15 years.

Since most of them are former employees of Asian Life Insurance, the company seems to have adopted a policy of developing leadership skills from within the organization rather than bringing in external manpower. Moreover, having women leaders in key departments of insurance companies is a clear testimony to the company’s competency-based and future-oriented thinking.
