Kathmandu. The production of electricity from the Lower Jogmai Khola Hydropower Project of Asian Hydropower has come to a complete halt following the floods caused by the rains.
Issuing a notice today, the company informed that the expected landslide and flood on October 3 caused a huge damage to the physical structure of the hydropower project (6.2 MW).
The company said that the damage is being ascertained as the flooding in the river has not stopped completely. Currently, the power generation from Ajojana has been completely halted, according to the company.
