Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has decided to relieve customers of banks and financial institutions from the compulsion of filling the identification form (KYC) details and updating them regularly.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Dr Bishwa Raj Poudel on Friday unveiled the fiscal year 2082/19. In the monetary policy of 83, it has been announced that customers will be able to fill the KYC details in any one bank with an account.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is going to set up a central customer identification information system. Through this system, other banks and financial institutions will also be able to get the details provided by the customer in one bank financial institution.
Under this system, customers who provide KYC details will get the identification number. And any bank financial institution will get the customer’s personal details from the KYC system using the same identification number if required for customer identification.
