Applications open for Nabil SSE Fellowship Program

Kathmandu. Nabil Bank has opened applications for the fifth cohort of the Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship (Nabil SSE) Fellowship Program. Launched with the aim of promoting social entrepreneurship, this program is open to individuals who are interested in making a positive contribution to society through entrepreneurship. Interested individuals can apply until Chaitra 25.

The Nabil SSE Fellowship Program, which is being run in collaboration with the School of Management under the Faculty of Management of Tribhuvan University, runs for 6 months. It includes 18 days of free residential training and a one-year mentoring program. So far, 56 entrepreneurs from three groups have received training through this program, while 1,184 people have been employed through 45 social enterprises. Nabil Bank has stated that 20 entrepreneurs from the fourth group are currently undergoing training under the program, while 20 from the fifth group will be selected from applications received from all over the country.

The eligibility for participation in the program is only 18 years of age and Nepali citizens. People who have started a business and have innovative entrepreneurial ideas can apply for this program. To participate in the program, you can scan the QR code available on the Facebook page of Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship. You can also download the form from Nabil Bank’s website and send it via email.

Entrepreneurs working in areas that are consistent with the goals of livelihood, education, health, information technology, art, community development, agriculture, energy, as well as sustainable development will be able to participate in the program. The bank has stated that the program will bring entrepreneurs from different sectors together and provide training from experienced mentors and industry experts. Nabil SSE has been providing participants with the necessary resources to develop their businesses, as well as helping them establish access to relevant platforms and networks and find opportunities for financial access.

Nabil SSE has established itself as a driver of social change. Nabil Bank Limited has been operating the Nabil SSE program for the past three years as part of its corporate social responsibility. Currently, a fellowship program and a certificate course are being run under this program. The bank has stated that 117 enterprises have been established and more than 1,200 jobs have been created through the fellowship and certificate courses under Nabil SSE so far.

The fellowship program is being run in collaboration with the School of Management of Tribhuvan University, while the certificate course is being run by the Nabil Center for Social Entrepreneurship established and run by 11 educational institutions in all seven provinces.

Nabil Bank has been carrying out various social works with the aim of bringing positive changes in the society under social responsibility. The bank is working with priority in the areas of financial literacy, entrepreneurship development, health, education, disaster risk reduction, management and climate change. The bank’s efforts have led to positive improvements in the lives of thousands of people from different communities and have helped to take concrete steps towards environmental protection.
