Kathmandu. Protests are taking place across the country against US President Donald Trump. This is the first time that the American people have opposed Trump since he took office.
People have started demonstrations in about 1,200 places in all 50 states of America. These protests have been named ‘Hands Off’. This means that Trump should not interfere in the affairs of the people.
The protesters have expressed dissatisfaction with Trump’s agenda on many issues, including social and economic issues. After Trump announced to impose tariffs on many countries around the world, many meetings were also organized outside the US. This includes cities such as London, Paris and Berlin.
Some protesters in Boston, USA, said they were protesting against immigration raids on American university students. Recently, some foreign students from American universities were arrested and deported.
Thousands of protesters gathered in Washington, DC, to hear speeches by Democratic lawmakers. These speeches were full of criticism of the wealthy in the Trump administration. The most prominent among them is Elon Musk, who serves as an advisor to the president and leads efforts to reduce government spending and the workforce. –Agency
