Kathmandu. Fears of a recession in the US economy are growing. The pace of economic growth in the US seems to be slowing down.

Issues such as tariff wars and inflation can create challenges for the US. According to estimates, the US GDP growth rate is expected to be less than 2.5 percent in 2025. This is due to signs of a decline in exports and consumption. Along with this, the trend of price increase in the US is also declining. The ratio of savings to GDP in the US has fallen to its lowest level since 2011.

Crest

There are many reasons behind this decline. The first of them is the tariff war. Due to which imports are becoming more expensive in the US and the people there have to pay more for daily consumer goods, that is, inflation is increasing. Due to which the purchasing power of the people is decreasing.

In addition, the production of American companies has also been affected due to expensive raw materials. In such a situation, if this tariff war increases, the risk of recession in the United States may deepen.

Due to the tariff war, obstacles in global trade may increase. Which may increase the price of raw materials and inflation. Due to the US recession, there may be a widespread impact on the world market. –Agency
