Kathmandu. Geologist Prof Dr Ranjan Kumar Dahal has urged the general public to use home-made devices to measure the amount of rainfall during the monsoon season.
Sharing the suggestion through his Facebook page, Dr. Dahal suggested the use of a home appliance bottle renegade to measure the rainfall in his village.
According to Dr. Dahal, to make sure how much rain has fallen in your settlement, you can find out by making bottles of reynugs and placing them on the roof of the house. He made such a rain gauge device and kept it in a place where there is no water in The Kosi. After the accumulation of rainwater in the bottle kept in this way, it can be measured how much rain has occurred.

According to Dr Dahal, a two-litre bottle of empty Coca-Cola should be cut into about 2 inches with birko and make soli. After making the soli, a few small stones should be placed inside the bottle for the bottle to stick it easily on the ground and to get an accurate measurement of the accumulated water. After doing this, you should put it on a soli bottle cut from the side of the window. After doing this, the bottle should be left in the sky.
If 14 cm of water is filled in a bottle in 24 hours, it can be estimated that there is a risk of excessive landslide in the settlement.
