Kathmandu. In recent times, there have been cases of various methods being used to get insurance money. A similar incident has now come to light from the UK.

Hopper worked at Britain’s prestigious Royal Cornwall Hospital. Where he also had hundreds of surgeries.

Hopper had claimed to the insurance company that both legs had sustained injuries and later had to be amputated after an infection. He made an insurance claim of 235,000 pounds in The Arrival Group and another 231,000 pounds in old mutual funds. These claims were made by him on June 3 and June 26, 2019.

Not only that, Hopper also encouraged other people to cut body parts through videos. Such activities took place from 2018 to December 2020.

British police arrested The Surgeon Hopper in 2023 and tried him for jalsazi. He was then dismissed from his job by The Royal Cornwall Hospital and his medical license was revoked by the Health Council.

Prior to his arrest, Hopper said in an interview with the BBC that he became more active after losing his leg. He is currently on artificial legs.

Hopper’s case is currently underway in Bodmin Gazette. He appealed to the court to be released on bail. However, the court rejected his appeal.
