Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower today. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 4.98 points to close at 2,561 points. Shares of 77 companies have increased and the share prices of 170 companies have fallen.
During the day, 838 million shares of 338 companies were traded and Rs 3.77 billion worth of shares were traded. Shares of Barun Hydropower Company Ltd were the most traded today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 27.40 crore were traded. Shares of Sahas Energy worth Rs 19.60 crore were traded. Shares of Radhi Power Company worth Rs 15.94 crore were traded.
Investors of Mabilung Energy and Daramkhola Hydropower earned the most today. Today, investors of these two companies have gained 10 percent. Investors of Sagar Distillery and Him Star earned 9.99 percent each.
Today, the investors of corporate development banks have lost the most. Investors of Yes Bank lost 6 percent today.
