Kathmandu. Rapti Academy of Health Sciences is going to build a 400-bed hospital. The sixth meeting of the Academy held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Sunday allocated the budget for the construction of the hospital building.
In the meeting, Vice-Chancellor of the Academy Dr. Bikash Lamichhane informed that the implementation of the master plan for the construction of a 400-bed teaching hospital has started as approved by the fifth assembly.
The sixth meeting of the Academy held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Sunday approved the policy, plan and budget programme for the construction of the hospital building, educational research and management works.
Assembly for the upcoming fiscal year 2082. A budget of Rs 2.74 billion has been approved for 83.
A meeting chaired by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the Vice-Chancellor, decided to amend some provisions of the Academy’s ‘Rules relating to Conditions of Service and Facilities of Teachers and Employees, 2078 BS’ and change the logo of the academy.
Addressing the meeting, PM Oli urged the academy to provide quality education and services by equipping it with infrastructure and human resources in all aspects as Nepal is the land of health sciences.
He also urged all health workers to share their knowledge with the general public through social media for health awareness among the people.
