Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The newly appointed ministers of the interim government led by former Chief Justice Sushila Karki have taken oath of office and secrecy.
President Bhandari appointed 4 more ministers and administered the oath of office and secrecy at a programme held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, on the recommendation of Prime Minister Karki. Mahabir Pun is the Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Anil Kumar Sinha is the Minister for Industry and Land Reforms, Jagadish Kharel is the Minister for Communications, Information and Technology and Dr Madan Pariyar is the Minister for Agriculture.
The KP Sharma Oli-led government had collapsed after the Zenji agitation on September 23 and 24. After this, an interim government was formed under the leadership of former Chief Justice Karki.
Earlier, 3 ministers, including Prime Minister Karki, had already taken the oath of office.
