2.5 million foreign employment policies issued after 600,000 workers get labour permit in 10 months

Kathmandu. In the last 10 months, the sales of foreign employment insurance have increased by 21 percent. The sale of insurance policies has increased by 21 percent in mid-April of the current fiscal year compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.

The sale of foreign employment term insurance has increased significantly due to the increase in the number of foreigners going abroad in search of employment opportunities.

According to the Department of Foreign Employment, the current fiscal year 2081. A total of 618,666 people have received labour permits for foreign employment till mid-April 2018. Foreign employment term insurance has been issued nearly four times the number of labor permits issued by the Department.
