Training on Risk Assessment and Sustainable Growth Training of Aarambh Chautari Laghubitta

Kathmandu. The training on risk assessment and sustainable growth training was conducted in all the provinces by the central office of Aarambh Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Banepa. The training began from Chitwan Sauraha of Bagmati Province on November 5 and concluded in Nepalgunj of Lumbini Province.

A total of 162 employees including 22 programme officers from all 140 branches and heads of all 140 branches participated in the training.

The training program was focused on risk assessment and institutional sustainability. Chief Executive Officer of the organization, Shiva Prasad Gyawali, inaugurated the training programs held in Sauraha, Bardibas, Butwal and Nepalgunj in the presence of Assistant General Manager Manrupa Poudel and all the department heads, while Top Bahadur Raskoti, Head of Credit Department, gave the welcome speech and Chief Business Officer Chandan Kumar Sardar conducted the program ।

Addressing the program organized in Butwal of Lumbini Province, Gopal Prasad Basyal, member of the board of directors of the organization, said that the CEO has played an important role in establishing the organization as the best institution in the microfinance sector and Aarambh Chautari Laghubitta has been recognized as a successful organization.

On the occasion, he congratulated all the branches that have achieved cent percent target in the first quarter of this fiscal year and directed the branches that have not been able to meet the target to work with responsible, dutiful and positive energy in the coming days.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shiva Prasad Gyawali directed the employees to work together and achieve success by focusing on the goals set by the branch.

In the program, Chief Trainer and Assistant General Manager Manrupa Poudel imparted training on risk management, evaluation and sustainable business growth.

The training was mainly related to financial risk assessment, institutional risk mitigation, quality business growth strategy, facilitation of problems seen in the accounting system.

Chief Business Officer Chandan Kumar Sardar imparted training on employee management, employee code of conduct, duties and responsibilities of employees. Top Bahadur Raskoti, Head of Credit Department, imparted training on corporate working procedures and policies, directives issued by Nepal Rastra Bank to microfinance institutions, interest rate issued in the second quarter of this fiscal year, loan risk assessment and recovery process and quality business growth.

Similarly, Mahendra Acharya, working in the Risk and Debt Recovery Department, imparted training on the problems seen in the loan recovery process and the ways to resolve it, while Hom Prasad Adhikari, Head of the General Services Department, imparted training on the problems seen in the office operation and management, micro-term life insurance and loan utilization.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shiva Prasad Gyawali said that he would always work to boost the morale of the employees. Stating that all the employees should work unitedly for the welfare of the organization, he said that anyone violating the institutional discipline would not be spared.

The microfinance company has been providing microfinance services through 140 branches in 7 provinces and 57 districts. The organization has been providing economic, social and intellectual development of its clients by providing collateral-free and collateral-free loans, vocational skill training, financial literacy training and providing financial literacy training to the poor and underprivileged women living in rural areas.
