Kathmandu. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company has released the financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2081/82 BS. According to the financial statements, most of the indices except the company’s profit have increased.

At the end of the review period, the company’s retained earnings stood at Rs 366.5 million. Other equities are worth Rs 502.2 million. As of the review year, the company has a disaster fund of Rs 229.3 million. The special reserve has Rs 2.55 billion.

In the same period of the previous year, the company’s retained earnings stood at Rs 403.8 million. Other equities stood at Rs 442.2 million. The disaster fund was Rs 188.9 million. There was 2.55 billion in the special reserve.

In the review year, the company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 5 billion. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a total insurance premium of Rs 4.89 billion. The company’s total insurance premium has increased compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.

In this review year, the company has spent Rs 2.89 billion through reinsurance. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had spent Rs 3.17 billion.

The company earned Rs 2.11 billion in net insurance premium in the review year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned Rs 1.72 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net insurance revenue increased by 22.86 percent.

According to the financial statement, the company has earned a profit of Rs 403.2 million in the review year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a profit of Rs 460 million. Compared to the previous fiscal year, the company’s profit decreased by 12.51 percent in the review period.

In the review year, the company’s earnings per share stood at Rs 15.37. The price-to-earnings ratio is 47.23 times. The net worth per share is Rs 239.12.
