Government websites, which were shut down by the government worldwide due to serious security lapses, have reopened from Sunday night. <\/p>\n<p>According to a press release issued by the Software Development and Operation Center, the government is making efforts to correct the security vulnerabilities and that the websites that were offline since Wednesday have been restored. <\/p>\n<p>Millions of websites globally have been taken offline after artificial intelligence (AI) discovered a serious vulnerability in PHP, the programming language used to communicate to servers via websites. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Centre, more than 1,000 government websites, which were downed, have been restored since Sunday evening. When Insurance Khabar checked, the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs was not opened, but the websites of the Prime Minister&#8217;s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, etc. were opened. <\/p>\n<p>The center said that the potential security vulnerabilities seen in PHP have been identified, checked and penetrated and brought into operation.
