According to reports, the Singapore-flagged container ship GFS Pride sank after hitting a sea mine on Wednesday. There were also reports of the ship catching fire. <\/p>\n
According to maritime officials, all 21 crew members on board were safely rescued and there were no injuries. The ship is said to be carrying about 2,500 containers from Dubai. This includes iPhones and expensive perfumes. <\/p>\n
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that the ship was hit by a sea mine. However, maritime officials denied this claim, saying that the ship was hit by an unknown launch. <\/p>\n
