KATHMANDU: Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited has concluded its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Laxmi Complex, Hattisar, Kathmandu on Thursday. The AGM has approved the annual report for the fiscal year 2082\/083, balance sheet, profit and loss accounts, cash flow statement. <\/p>\n
The meeting also decided to continue with the existing auditor NBSM & Associates in the process of appointing an auditor to complete the audit work for the fiscal year 2083\/084. In addition, the meeting also approved a proposal to distribute cash dividend of 11 percent of the paid-up capital i.e. Rs. 5.38 crores (including tax) to its shareholders out of the income per share as per the balance sheet of Ashad 2083 BS 2083 out of the income per share of 12.867%. <\/p>\n
The company has been contributing to the development, expansion and institutional strengthening of the securities market of Nepal for more than three decades by initiating the business of Merchant Banking and Mutual Investment Funds for the first time in the history of the capital market in Nepal. <\/p>\n
The company has been successfully operating 6 closed-oriented mutual funds worth about Rs 6 billion and mutual funds worth about Rs 7 billion. In addition, Laxmi Sustainable Energy Fund, which has a capital of Rs 1 billion under a specialized investment fund, has been raising capital as per the set target and investing in the areas of sustainable energy. <\/p>\n
