Kathmandu. To make the Dashain and Tihar holidays more enjoyable, ‘Bandipur Fest’ is going to be organized in Bandipur of Tanahun. The festival will be organized by Bandipur Hill, the brand of Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism Limited, which will include local cuisine, cultural performances, adventure activities and family-oriented entertainment. <\/p>\n
According to the organizers, the festival will be held in two phases at the lower station of Bandipur Cable Car. The first phase will be held from October 15 to November 1 and the second phase will be held from October 28 to November 10. There will be no entry fee to participate in the festival. The festival will offer a taste of local cuisine, as well as fun games, cultural performances and special activities for children. A children-focused ‘Kids Zone’ will also be the attraction of the festival. <\/p>\n
According to the organizers, the tourists who want to enjoy adventure activities like Bandipur Cable Car, zipline, sky cycling will also get various experiences. <\/p>\n
Bibhu Gautam, Marketing Manager of Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism Limited, said that Bandipur Hill is moving forward with the goal of establishing Bandipur Hill as a premium tourist destination of Nepal. According to him, Bandipur Fest will provide an opportunity to the passengers and families traveling through the highway to connect with the culture, local flavour and adventure activities of Bandipur. <\/p>\n
Program coordinator Suraj Rai informed that the festival will be open to all and entry will be free. He said that the program is being organized with the aim of welcoming the local people and tourists coming from outside in a festive atmosphere. <\/p>\n
Bandipur Hill has also planned to distribute promotional coupons through major travel routes and various tourism partners as part of the Dashain-Tihar campaign. The festival will also be publicized in Kathmandu, Chitwan and Pokhara, the organizers said. <\/p>\n
Known for its natural beauty, panoramic Himalayan scenery, cultural experience and modern tourism facilities, the festival is expected to help promote domestic tourism during the festival time. <\/p>\n
