(With list)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have brought in a new business of about Rs 8 in the current fiscal year 2083. By the second month of August of &#8217;84. <\/p>\n<p>According to the data released by the Insurance Authority of Nepal, the 14 existing life insurance companies have collected Rs 7.96 billion in first insurance premium (new business) till August of the current year. The company had collected Rs 1.84 billion in first insurance premiums in the same period last year. The company&#8217;s new business has increased by 13.38 percent during the review period compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>National Life is in second place. The company has collected Rs 1.14 billion in first insurance premiums till the review period. The company&#8217;s new business has increased by 23.40 percent during the review period compared to the same period last year. The company had collected Rs 92.70 crore in first insurance premiums till August last year. <\/p>\n<p>Surya Jyoti Life is the third company to bring in more new business. The company had collected Rs 41.53 crore in its first insurance premium till August last year, which increased by 42.72 per cent to Rs 59.28 crore in the review period. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Citizen Life collected Rs 52.74 crore, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC Nepal) collected Rs 50.66 crore, Himalayan Life earned Rs 45.72 crore, IME Life earned Rs 440.6 million and Reliable Nepal Life earned Rs 39.76 million in the review period. In the review period, Citizen Life&#8217;s new business increased by 19.12 percent, LIC Nepal by 6.22 percent, Himalayan Life by 21.40 percent, IME Life by 53.26 percent and Reliable Nepal Life by 37.14 percent. <\/p>\n<p>During the review period, Asian Life earned Rs 39.23 crore, Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Rs 34.18 crore, Met Life Rs 30 crore, Sanima Reliance Life Rs 29.70 crore, Rastriya Life Insurance Rs 26.98 crore and Sun Nepal Life earned Rs 20.59 crore.
