Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has introduced a new system for the adjustment and transfer of branches of banks. <\/p>\n<p>The central bank has amended the unified directive issued in the name of banks and financial institutions and brought a new provision for the adjustment and transfer of branches of banks. Now, in the context of increasing electronic payment transactions and the number of branches of financial institutions, banks and financial institutions themselves can merge or merge their branches in the metropolis. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, banks and licensed institutions may merge or merge their branches within the Sub-Metropolitan City and Municipality subject to the following conditions: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Branches in urban and urban areas can be merged or merged. <\/li>\n<li> By merging or merging, at least one of the branches operating within a distance of one kilometer shall be maintained, so that only its other branches within the same distance may be merged. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the merger or merger of each of the four branches, a new branch has to be opened in the ward of the rural area where there is no branch of any bank or financial institution and the details of the same should be submitted to the Bank and Financial Institution Regulation Department and the concerned supervision department. <\/p>\n<p>Banks and financial institutions are not allowed to close or relocate or merge any kind of branches in rural municipalities or rural areas without prior approval of the Nepal Rastra Bank. <\/p>\n<p>Integration means the amalgamation of two or more branches of a licensed entity into one branch. <\/p>\n<p>For the purpose of classifying the branches while adjusting and integrating, the urban, urban and rural areas mentioned in Appendix 3 of the report on the categorization of rural and urban areas in Nepal published by the National Statistics Office shall be taken into account. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the employees working in the concerned branch will not be removed from the service because of the merger or merger of the branch. After such adjustment or consolidation, the employee will have to be transferred to the nearest branch or other branch on the basis of priority and consent. <\/p>\n<p>Arrangements should be made to ensure that the financial access of the area will not be adversely affected while adjusting the branches.
