Kathmandu. Sun Securities, in collaboration with MoneyMaze Islington Community, has successfully conducted a 30-day stock simulation competition for the students of Islington College. The competition, which started on August 22, lasted for 30 days. The competition, which was organized with the aim of providing practical experience of the stock market to the students, gave the participants the opportunity to gain knowledge about market dynamics, investment decisions, risk management and portfolio management by buying and selling shares on the simulation platform. <\/p>\n
During the competition, the students analyzed the market activities and the performance of companies and made various investment and transaction decisions. This played an important role in developing a practical understanding of the stock market in the students and connecting theoretical knowledge with practical practice. <\/p>\n
According to the final result of the competition, Achhurna Kafle won the title of Tournament Winner by performing brilliantly. The winner Kafle received a cash prize of Rs. 25,000. Similarly, Arun Bhandari received a cash prize of Rs. 15,000 as the 1st runner-up and Sonu Kumar received a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 for being the 2nd runner-up. <\/p>\n
Sun Securities has been prioritizing such educational and practical programs with the aim of inculcating financial literacy, investment knowledge and practical understanding of capital markets among the younger generation. Programs such as stock simulation are expected to help students understand market behavior, make investment strategies, and develop decision-making skills without investing real money. <\/p>\n
Sun Securities thanked all the students who participated in the competition and congratulated the winner Achhurna Kafle, the first runner-up Arun Bhandari and the second runner-up Sonu Kumar. <\/p>\n
