Kathmandu. The landlord of a viral green house in Dhunge of Bidur Municipality-1 has received a compensation claim from Shikhar Insurance Company Limited. <\/p>\n
The company has informed that within 35 days of the flood, the entire amount of compensation has been paid to the homeowners for the insurance of the damaged house and the vehicle swept away in the flood. Prakash Thapa, head of the claims department of Shikhar Insurance, said that 100 percent compensation has been paid for the buildings and vehicles damaged in the flood. He told Insurance Khabar that the work of collecting documentary evidence about the damage to goods in the shop and the loss of stock of liquor is being done from elsewhere. The settlement will be done after getting the paper proof. <\/p>\n
According to Prakash Pyakurel, a house owner who runs a liquor business in his house, the company had contacted him the next day of the flood for compensation. He said that the stock of liquor, shop, house, car, 2 scooters and 1 motorcycle were damaged in the flood. <\/p>\n
He said that he was aware of the importance of insurance as he was not only a businessman but also a foreign country and had a bank loan. In a video interview with Shikhar Insurance, the Pyakurel couple said that due to the greed of premium, they should not buy insurance of a lower price than the real price. We have learned a lesson from this disaster. <\/p>\n
The Pyakurel couple said, “We businessmen have to do compulsory insurance. If I have a property of Rs 5 crore, then I have to pay the full price. Due to the greed of premium, if you do a low price, you will lose yourself. <\/p>\n
Mrs. Laxmi Pandey Pyakurel has suggested that one should understand the condition of the insurance company and the insurance company before buying insurance from any insurance company. <\/p>\n
