Kathmandu. Bikash Hydropower Company has called its fifth annual general meeting. <\/p>\n
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company has decided to hold the general meeting on October 12. The meeting will begin at 9:30 am at Hotel Smart Durbar in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
The meeting approved a total dividend of 10.5263 per cent of the current paid-up capital of Rs 909,101,300 proposed for FY83. This includes bonus shares of Rs 90,09,10,130 per cent for 10 per cent and cash dividend of Rs 4,784,600.14 per cent for tax purposes. <\/p>\n
The meeting shall approve a proposal to increase the officer, issued and paid-up capital of the company to increase the capital after the issuance of bonus shares. The meeting shall pass a resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to amend the Articles of Association and the Board of Directors to make any changes or suggestions from the regulatory body. <\/p>\n
The meeting will approve the annual report of the previous fiscal year and the auditor’s report and approve the proposal regarding the appointment of the auditor and determination of his\/her remuneration for the current fiscal year. <\/p>\n
The company has decided to close the book on October 19 for the purpose of dividends and meetings. This means that only the shareholders who have been held before October 19 will be eligible to receive the dividend and attend the meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
