KATHMANDU: Moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and at a few places of the mountainous and hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces on Wednesday. <\/p>\n
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of moderate rain accompanied by lightning at some places of the Tarai region of Madhes, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces. Heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi and Bagmati provinces. <\/p>\n
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be partial influence of monsoon as well as westerly winds across the country. Although the low pressure area is around the west-central Bay of Bengal, this system is likely to become more powerful in the coming days and move west-northwestwards as a strong low-pressure area, according to the Meteorological Bulletin of the Division. <\/p>\n
The weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country towards the afternoon and generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. <\/p>\n
There is a possibility of heavy rainfall occurring in one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, and one or two places of Lumbini provinces have urged one and all to be alert to be safe from possible risk of natural disasters like mudslide, flood, landslide and soil erosion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
