KATHMANDU: The annual Chairperson Club program organized by National Life Insurance Company Limited with the objective of honoring its outstanding agents and distributing Chairperson Club membership was held in a grand manner at Hotel Siddhartha Villasa in Bhairahawa. <\/p>\n
The program was held at Hotel Siddhartha Villasa in Bhairahawa with the participation of 565 people including the selected agents, department heads, provincial heads, branch heads, marketing staffs, meeting the target set for the fiscal year 2082\/83. <\/p>\n
The program began with a 1-minute silence to express deep condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the speedy recovery of all those injured and sick due to the recent floods in Bhotekoshi River and the resultant natural disaster. <\/p>\n
On the occasion, the Chairperson of the company, Prema Rajya Laxmi Singh, formally inaugurated the Chairperson’s Club program by lighting the lamp on Panas. During the speech, she said that the company will continue to support and collaborate for the skill and capacity development and professionalization of agents in order to make the agents who are the backbone of the company more professional and efficient. <\/p>\n
Likewise, Chief Executive Officer of the company, Suresh Prasad Khatri, said that the historic business achievement of the company in the fiscal year 2082\/83 is a collective success of National Life Pariwar. <\/p>\n
During the program, chairperson of the company Prema Rajya Laxmi Singh felicitated the first, second and third and group business agents from all over Nepal who have been selected in the Chairperson Club for 10 consecutive years and the agents who have been selected in the Chairperson Club for 10 consecutive years. <\/p>\n
The participating agents were given training in various disciplines by skilled and experienced trainers with the aim of enhancing their knowledge, skills and capacity. On this occasion, Deputy Director of the Insurance Authority of Nepal Padam Prasad Sadari, while imparting training on money laundering, said that all the parties involved in the insurance business should be alert and vigilant in keeping close surveillance, necessary identification of suspicious activities and following the prevailing legal provisions. <\/p>\n
On the occasion, trainer Bishwo Raj Poudel explained how AI can be applied to the insurance business through various practical examples, and provided training on the possibilities of using AI in customer contact, content creation, business planning, information management, and more. <\/p>\n
Similarly, another trainer Sanjog Koirala said that the insurance business can be greatly benefited if the digital medium is used effectively as this is the digital age. He said that only factual information and approved materials should be made public by fully complying with the prevailing laws and regulatory provisions while using digital platforms. <\/p>\n
