CBS News, the US partner of BBC News, has revealed in an exclusive report that Iran-linked groups have used artificial intelligence (AI) to target the US Navy in the war against the US. &#8220;They have used US-developed AI,&#8221; the report said. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>The report was published last week by a company called Anthropic. Anthropic did not identify the group but called it a &#8220;threat organization.&#8221; The company said the group used cloud-based AI to gather public information from the internet, locate the U.S. Navy and suggest potential targets. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>Anthropic&#8217;s report states that accounts related to this activity have been blocked.
