Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank has organized blood donation programs in all seven provinces of the country to help the affected and injured due to natural disasters. The bank collected 321 pints of blood in the program organized in collaboration with the Nepal Red Cross Society. <\/p>\n
As a part of its corporate social responsibility, the blood donation program was conducted simultaneously at its branches and central offices in all seven provinces, according to the bank. <\/p>\n
The bank has organized a blood donation program at its central office, Babarmahal and Narayangadh branches in Bagmati Province, Biratnagar branch in Chitwan, Biratnagar branch in Koshi Province, Simara branch in Madhes Province, Amarsingh Chowk branch in Gandaki Province, Butwal branch in Pokhara, Lumbini Province, Surkhet branch in Karnali Province and Dhangadhi branch in Sudurpaschim Province. <\/p>\n
Prior to this, the bank had provided Rs 2,111,111 to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund (PMKR) to provide relief support to the families affected by the devastating floods and the homelessness. <\/p>\n
Similarly, the bank’s directors and employees voluntarily collected Rs 4 million 80 thousand 50 to the fund. <\/p>\n
The bank also handed over 100 tents and 100 sleeping bags to the District Administration Office, Nuwakot to provide relief to the flood-affected families. <\/p>\n
