(With list)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu. Life insurers have shown attractive progress in new business. The current fiscal year 2083 released by the Nepal Insurance Authority. The data of the first month of July 84 shows this. <\/p>\n<p>According to the data, the 14 existing life insurance companies have collected Rs 4.51 billion in first insurance premium (new business) in the current year. In the previous year, 2082. In the previous year, the companies had collected Rs 3.27 billion in first insurance premium. The new business of insurers increased by 37.87 percent in the review period compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>During the review period, Nepal Life Insurance Company was the largest company in terms of new business, while National Life Insurance Company was ahead in terms of growth rate. The new business of all 14 companies increased. <\/p>\n<p>In the current fiscal year, Nepal Life has collected a premium of Rs 1.35 billion. In the same period last year, the company had collected a premium of Rs 1.03 billion. The company&#8217;s new business increased by 30.85 percent during the review period compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>National Life is in second place. During the review period, the company collected a first insurance premium of Rs 53.22 crore. The company&#8217;s new business increased by 25.59 percent during the review period compared to the same period last year. The company had collected Rs 42.37 crore in the first insurance premium in the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>Surya Jyoti Life is the third company to bring in more new business. The company collected Rs 22.78 crore in the first insurance premium in the previous year, which increased by 41.69 percent to Rs 32.28 crore in the review period. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Himalayan Life earned Rs 30.53 crore, Citizen Life earned Rs 29.76 crore, IME Life earned Rs 25.49 crore, Rastriya Life Insurance Rs 24.89 crore and Life Insurance Corporation (LIC Nepal) collected Rs 23.52 crore in the review period. During the review period, Himalayan Life Insurance earned 28.27 percent, Citizen Life 18.99 percent, IME Life 66.92 percent, National Life Insurance Company 498.89 percent and LIC Nepal 10.16 percent. <\/p>\n<p>During the review period, Reliable Nepal Life earned Rs 19.01 crore, Asian Life earned Rs 18.94 crore, Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life earned Rs 18.42 crore, Met Life earned Rs 14.27 crore, Sanima Reliance Life earned Rs 14.09 crore and Sun Nepal Life earned Rs 10.74 crore.
