Kathmandu. NIMB Ace Capital Limited and NIBL Equity Partners have provided Rs 21 lakh for the search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River. <\/p>\n
The financial assistance has been provided through the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund to provide relief and rehabilitation to the affected people. <\/p>\n
Similarly, the portfolio companies of NIBL Equity Partners have also collectively contributed about Rs. 35 lakhs in cash for the relief and rehabilitation of the affected communities. With this, more than Rs. 56 lakhs have been raised from NIMB Ace Capital, NIBL Equity Partners and their portfolio companies for the flood affected people. <\/p>\n
Commitments have been made to provide necessary support in the reconstruction and long-term development of flood-affected districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun, Chitwan, among others. Initiatives will be taken to expand investment opportunities in the future and to further facilitate access to capital markets and financial services through branch network expansion to make economic activities more dynamic in the affected areas. <\/p>\n
The initiative is expected to further connect the affected households and communities with financial services and contribute to local economic development in the long term. <\/p>\n
