In a recent post on the social media platform Truth Social, President Trump linked rising energy prices to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. “The United States will win this war and then the markets will stabilise,” he said. \u2019<\/p>\n
Trump wrote in his post, “If we win the war with Iran, the price of oil will fall sharply. The price of gas will fall to $3 per gallon, but eventually it will fall below $2 per gallon.” \u2019<\/p>\n
Trump’s claims and predictions about oil and gas prices come at a time when tensions between the US and Iran have escalated. Iranian officials have warned of retaliation for any attack on the country’s energy infrastructure in response to the US action. <\/p>\n
