Kathmandu. The regulator has banned the sale of noodle bhujia produced by the noodle manufacturer CG Foods after it was found guilty of serious negligence in the process of production of noodles produced from a factory in Rajasthan, India. <\/p>\n

CG Foods India, which manufactures Wai noodles in Rajasthan, has threatened to take further regulatory action for manufacturing the Bhuzia of Wai Wai Mama and Mama Punte brands without permission. <\/p>\n

During the inspection of the factory, it was found that the pieces of noodles that had fallen and broken on the floor of the factory were reused to make noodles and bhujia. The pieces of noodles picked from the floor were found to be used to make bhujia by repackaging them without the required temperature or processing technology, according to a press release from FSSI. <\/p>\n

The regulatory body raided the factory and seized more than 32,000 kg of raw and finished goods. In addition, 1,925 boxes of expired finished goods were also found. The Wai Wai Mama and Mama Punte Bhujia brands were produced without permission and used expired and pre-dated packaging, the press release said. <\/p>\n

Legal proceedings have been initiated against the operator of the industry for violating the Food Safety Act. Various samples have been collected for laboratory testing.
