Insurance claims of more than Rs 26 billion have been made in the devastating Rasuwa floods. <\/p>\n<p>According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority, the floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishul rivers have caused damage to insured property worth Rs 25.87 billion. A total of 583 claims have been filed. <\/p>\n<p>The highest number of claims have been made in Orient Insurance. The company has to pay Rs 13.03 billion for eight insurance claims. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the second highest number of claims have been made by United Ajod Insurance. The company has to pay Rs 4.97 billion for 38 claims. <\/p>\n<p>In the third place, Sanima GIC Insurance has the highest number of claims.
