KATHMANDU: In coordination with the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) member organizations have handed over Rs 52.9 crore to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund. A team led by President Birendra Raj Pandey on Friday handed over a cheque to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle as a member organization and personal assistance. <\/p>\n
On Friday, Bishnu Kumar Agrawal, former president of the Confederation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, handed over a cheque of Rs 1.11 crore to the Finance Minister from MAW Group, while industrialist Vijay Kumar Shah, member of the Governing Council of the Confederation, handed over a cheque of Rs 10 million. Similarly, Rs 10 million was handed over by Jawalakhel Distillery, Rs 10 million from Himalayan Distillery and Rs 10.1 million from Himalayan Bullion Company. <\/p>\n
Similarly, more than Rs 15 crore has been provided by Chaudhary Group and Nabil Bank. Nepal Adarsha Construction Company has pledged Rs 10 lakh. <\/p>\n
Similarly, Rs 2,21,000 was provided by Good Home Products, Rs 2,10,000 by British Colour Industries, Rs 112,000 by Langtang Re Trekking, Rs 111,111 by Kaas Trading, Rs 1,11,111 by Silver Lining and Rs 50,000 by Glocal Pvt. Ltd. <\/p>\n
Earlier, Gorkha Brewery in coordination with the Confederation had contributed Rs 100 million to the relief fund. Former President Satish Kumar Mor, Senior Vice President of the Confederation Nirvana Chaudhary, Vice-President Raj Bahadur Shah, National Council members, representatives of the supporting organizations, Director General of the Confederation Dr. Ghanashyam Ojha and others were present on the occasion. <\/p>\n
