The economic growth rate is estimated at 3.85 percent in 2018-19. <\/p>\n<p>The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made this estimate in its report on the current economic and financial situation of the country today. The economic growth rate was 2081 in the previous year. That&#8217;s less than 82. In the previous year, the economic growth rate was 4.43 percent. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Other major economic and financial indicators of the country{<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>}<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Year-on-year consumer inflation was 5.14 percent in July 2083 and 5.14 percent in the fiscal year 2082. The average inflation rate was 3.08 per cent. <\/li>\n<li>Total Foreign Exchange Reserves Rs. 3897.67 billion. The reserve has reached Rs 25.31 billion in US dollars. Such reserves are sufficient to sustain imports of goods and services for 19.6 months. <\/li>\n<li>Current Account Rs. Rs. 923.56 billion and balance of payment Rs. There is a surplus of Rs 1,027.04 billion. <\/li>\n<p>In the review period, the remittance inflow increased by 37.1 percent in Nepali rupees and 28.1 percent in US dollars.TAG_OPEN_li_22 The remittance inflow in the first month of the last fiscal year stood at Rs. 242.33 billion. <\/li>\n<\/p>\n<p>Exports increased by 13.8 percent and imports by 16.2 percent.TAG_OPEN_li_21 The expenditure of the Government of Nepal is Rs. Rs. 1,582.17 billion and revenue mobilization Rs. 1,241.32 billion. <\/li>\n<\/p>\n<li> Broad currency supply increased by 13.4 percent. The same had increased by 12.5 percent in the previous year. <\/li>\n<p>Deposit mobilization of banks and financial institutions increased by 13.9 percent to Rs.TAG_OPEN_li_19 Credit to the private sector increased by 6.5 percent to Rs. 8.276 billion while credit to the private sector increased by 6.5 percent.
