KATHMANDU: Agent associations of Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) have made their views public on the controversy that took place during the national felicitation program organized by Nepal Life Insurance Company on Wednesday. Insurance Professional Insurance Association of Nepal (Insurance Committee, Nepal Life Insurance Company) and Nepal National Insurance Association issued separate press release on Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>KATHMANDU: The Professional Insurance Agents Association (ANIA) has claimed that some non-agents and professional insurance agents have registered another organization illegally without submitting the documents of the association, while the national felicitation program of Nepal Life Insurance Agents from all over the country is going on at Hotel Yak and Yeti. &#8220;Attempts have been made to humiliate the agents who have been honored from all over the country by inviting the agents working in a particular company outside, to defame the company and to spread misleading coup by raising the issue that there is no connection with the program,&#8221; reads the statement g. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>Stating that the National Honor Program is running continuously on time in a grand and civilized manner, the association has requested the company and the concerned bodies to refute such misleading propaganda from all levels and take legal action against such wrong tendencies. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-311971\" src=\"https:\/\/media.insurancekhabar.com\/uploads\/2026\/08\/2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1173\" height=\"1599\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the National Insurance Agents Association of Nepal has said that the agents working at Nepal Life Insurance have contributed to the collection of the first insurance premium throughout the year. &#8220;The government is insulting the trade union leaders duly registered with the Department of Labour in accordance with the Constitution of Nepal, the Trade Union Act and the Labour Act, creating a rift among the agents and reducing the bonus of the insured and treating the agents unequally,&#8221; reads the statement.
