Life insurance companies have spent more than Rs 16.25 billion in agent commission. <\/p>\n<p>According to the financial details of the last fiscal year, 14 life insurance companies spent Rs 16.30 billion. Previous fiscal year 2081. The companies of 82 had spent Rs 14.80 billion. The agent commission of the companies increased by 10.11 percent in the review period compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>Compared to the previous year, the agent commission of all the companies has increased. Nepal Life Insurance has been the highest distributing agent commission while IME Life is ahead in terms of growth rate. <\/p>\n<p>In the last fiscal year, Nepal Life has distributed agent commission of Rs 4.12 billion. Last year, the company had spent Rs 3.66 billion in agent commission. The company&#8217;s agent commission expenses increased by 12.49 percent in the review year compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>National Life Insurance is the life insurer that spends the second most on agent commissions. In the review year, the company spent Rs 2.26 billion. Last year, the company had spent Rs 2.18 billion. Compared to the previous year, the company&#8217;s agent commission expenses increased by 3.93 percent. <\/p>\n<p>Life Insurance Corporation of Nepal Ltd (LIC Nepal) is in the third position. LIC Nepal spent Rs 1.47 billion in the review period of the previous fiscal year which increased by 3.27 percent to Rs 1.52 billion. <\/p>\n<p>In the review year, Himalayan Life Insurance has spent Rs 1.52 billion in agent commission. Last year, the company had disbursed Rs 1.46 billion in agent commission. The company&#8217;s expenses increased by 4.20 percent in the review year compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>In the last fiscal year, Surya Jyoti Life earned Rs 1.13 billion, Asian Life Insurance Rs 88.11 crore, Citizen Life Insurance Rs 85.40 billion, Sanima Life Insurance Rs 820.06 million and IME Life Insurance Rs 670.3 million. In the review year, Surya Jyoti Life Insurance earned 11.34 percent, Asian Life Insurance by 8.69 percent, Citizen Life Insurance by 17.73 percent, Sanima Life Insurance by 14.19 percent and IME Life Insurance by 27.11 percent. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Reliable Nepal Life Insurance earned Rs 62.49 crore, Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Rs 60.38 crore, Met Life Insurance Rs 58.75 billion, Sun Nepal Life Insurance Rs 46.76 crore and Rastriya Life Insurance Rs 20.98 crore in the last fiscal year.
