Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A two-day training programme on accounts and tax has been successfully concluded. The training program was organized under the coordination of the Training and Training Operation Committee of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Gems and Jewellery with the objective of enhancing the capacity of the entrepreneurs to run the gold, silver, gem and jewellery business in a systematic, transparent and smooth manner as per the prevailing laws. <\/p>\n
First Vice-President of FNCCI, Dwarika Bishwakarma, inaugurated the training programme. The program was coordinated by FNCCI Treasurer Ganesh Prasad Bishwakarma and the training was provided by Chartered Accountant Mahesh Pokhrel. <\/p>\n
During the training, theoretical and practical knowledge was imparted on various processes related to purchase and sales account and daybook, record of stock management, record of wages and acquisition, accounting of other expenses, service promotion fee, tax deduction at source, tax administration and various processes related to accounting. <\/p>\n
The program was attended by 21 businessmen and employees of the gems and jewellery sector. The participants expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the federation for organizing the training program, describing it as very useful, practical and result-oriented. <\/p>\n
The participants pointed out the need to continue such capacity building programs in the coming days to resolve practical problems related to accounting and taxation in the course of business operation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
