In 83 years, they have collected more than Rs 150 billion in insurance premiums by renewing their policies. <\/p>\n<p>According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) today, 14 life insurance companies have earned Rs 150.61 billion in renewal insurance premium in the last fiscal year. IME Life continues to collect the highest number of renewal insurance premiums. <\/p>\n<p>In the review year, Nepal Life has earned Rs 40.60 billion in renewal premium. The company had collected Rs 37.29 billion in the previous year. Compared to the previous year, the company&#8217;s renewal premium collection increased by 8.89 percent. <\/p>\n<p>National Life is the second highest collection of renewal insurance premiums. In the review year, the company collected Rs 167.74 billion in renewal premiums. In the previous fiscal year, the company had collected Rs 16.37 billion in renewal premium. The company&#8217;s renewal premium has increased by 8.31 percent compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>Life Insurance Corporation of Nepal (LIC) is in the third position. In the review year, the company collected Rs 17.69 billion in renewal insurance premiums from Rs 16.88 billion in the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Himalayan Life has collected Rs 15.62 billion in renewal insurance premium in the review year. The company had collected Rs 14.84 billion in the previous year. The company&#8217;s renewal premium has increased by 5.26 percent compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>Nepal Life Insurance collected Rs 9.16 billion in renewal premiums, followed by Life Insurance of Rs 8.84 billion, Citizen Life Insurance Rs 6.11 billion, Citizen Life Insurance Rs 6.11 billion, Reliance Life Insurance Rs 2.18 billion, Citizen Life Insurance Rs 1.11 billion, and Nepal Life Insurance Rs 1.11 billion. In the review year, Surya Jyoti Life Insurance increased 14.50 percent, Rastriya Life Insurance 1.12 percent, Asian Life Insurance 9.58 percent, Citizen Life Insurance 17.58 percent and Sanima Reliance Life increased 15.85 percent in the review year. <\/p>\n<p>Likewise, Prabhu Life Insurance has collected Rs 4.18 billion in renewal insurance premiums, Prabhu Life Insurance Rs 4.18 billion, Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Rs 4.14 billion, Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Rs 4.14 billion, and Sun Nepal Life Insurance Rs 4.16 billion.
