In 1983, they have managed to do business of more than Rs 50.60 billion. <\/p>\n<p>As per the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) in the last fiscal year, 14 non-life insurance companies have earned Rs 50.60 billion in insurance premiums by issuing policies of Rs 2,966,195. Previous fiscal year 2081. In 2018, the companies issued 2,864,945 policies and earned a total premium of Rs 43.95 billion. The company&#8217;s turnover increased by 15.12 percent in the review year compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>The business of all 14 insurers has increased in the review year compared to the previous year. Shikhar Insurance is at the top in terms of bringing the most business, followed by NLG Insurance in terms of business growth. <\/p>\n<p>In the review year, Shikhar Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 6.51 billion. Last year, the company earned Rs 5.79 billion in total insurance premiums. The company&#8217;s business increased by 12.38 percent in the review year compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance has become the second largest business buyer in the world. In the last fiscal year, the company earned Rs 5.42 billion in total insurance premiums. Last year, the company had earned Rs 5.2 billion in total premiums. The company&#8217;s business increased by 8.40 percent in the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Himalaya Everest Insurance is the third largest businessholder in the market. In the review period of the current fiscal year, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs 5.37 billion. Last year, the company earned Rs 4.10 billion in total insurance premiums. The company&#8217;s business increased by 31.06 percent in the review year compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>Likewise, IGI Insurance collected Rs 4.555 billion in insurance premiums, Siddhartha Premier Insurance Rs 4.31 billion, NLG Insurance Rs 4.20 billion, Neco Insurance Rs 3.65 billion and Oriental Insurance Rs 3.25 billion. In the review year, IGI Prudential Insurance increased by 17.13 percent, Siddhartha Premier Insurance by 0.17 percent, NLG Insurance by 37.30 percent, Neco Insurance by 11.37 percent and Oriental Insurance by 20.24 percent. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, United Ajod Insurance earned Rs 1.11 billion, Sanima GIG Insurance Rs 3.08 billion, Nepal Insurance Rs 2.21 billion, Prabhu Insurance Rs 2.02 billion, National Insurance Rs 1.58 billion, and National Insurance Rs 1.19 billion.
