Now, up to Rs 25,000 in cash can be brought into Nepal, taken out of Nepal and exchanged. <\/p>\n<p>Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has amended the Unified Directive issued by the foreign exchange trading body to relax this provision. This will make it easier to do business in Indian rupees. <\/p>\n<p>As per the new provision, the Indian banknotes of Indian currency of Indian currency of Rs 200 and Rs 500 denominations can be bought and exchanged with Indian nationals up to a limit of Rs 25,000 per person from November 9, 2016. Earlier, Indian currency notes of Rs 100 and below were allowed to be transmitted, transcribed and exchanged as per the prevailing provision. <\/p>\n<p>A few years ago, India scrapped the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes.
