Kathmandu: The Department of Land Management and Archive has directed the government to submit a report after conducting an investigation into the issue of excessive use of land. <\/p>\n<p>The department has issued a circular to the land administration offices under it and issued this directive. The circular has directed the offices to inspect and investigate whether the companies and institutions that have taken more land than the occupancy in different districts have used the land as per their purpose. <\/p>\n<p>The department has also directed to send the report to the Department after carrying out investigation in coordination with the local level. The Department has made provision for monitoring and inspection committees to monitor and inspect whether the industries, establishments, companies, projects and educational institutions or any other institution which has obtained permission to purchase or keep more land than the entitlement has been carried out as per its objective. <\/p>\n<p>The committee can carry out on-site inspection and monitoring within 2 months of the end of the fiscal year in consultation with the concerned local level.
