Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protesters protesting at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi have come to light. <\/p>\n<p>According to a report in an English newspaper, some of the protesters demonstrating with CJP were using an app that allows them to send and receive messages without the internet. The report also indicated that the Delhi Police had detected a suspicious app being used by the protesters. <\/p>\n<p>This is a Bluetooth-based communication app. Which works without an internet connection. However, the Delhi Police has not confirmed the name of this particular app. <\/p>\n<p>This app has caught the attention of many people right now. It does not require mobile data, Wi-Fi or cellular network. <\/p>\n<p>Messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and Signal use mobile data or Wi-Fi. Offline messaging apps use less Bluetooth energy. This is the wireless technology found in all modern smartphones. <\/p>\n<p>One such popular app is BitChat. Which provides offline messaging.
