Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Round Table Nepal has inaugurated a modern residential building specially constructed for visually impaired children under the Trinetra Foundation. The Round Table is one of the largest and most impactful social service projects in Nepal’s history. <\/p>\n
The residential building constructed at the cost of around Rs 18.3 million is aimed at improving the living standard of visually impaired children and providing them with a safe, dignified and quality living environment. <\/p>\n
The building constructed on one ropani of land has managed to accommodate more than 48 children. The new building will have 6 living rooms, spacious dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and other necessary infrastructures which will significantly contribute to the overall development, safety, comfort and dignified living of children. <\/p>\n
This significant project has been completed with the generous support of the Dolma Foundation, the Mazzali family, various individual donors, institutional partners and well-wishers. <\/p>\n
The project is led by the Chairman of Kathmandu Round Table-1. Sanjeev Aggarwal. <\/p>\n
Speaking at the event, the representatives of Round Table Nepal reiterated the organization’s firm belief that every child should have equal opportunities regardless of their physical status or economic background. <\/p>\n
World-renowned ophthalmologist and humanitarian, Dr. Sanduk Ruit was the chief guest.
