Kathmandu. Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Dr Gopal Prasad Bhatta, has directed NEPSE and CDSC to operate short selling service in secondary markets at the earliest. <\/p>\n
Chairman Bhatta issued this directive during a meeting with the high-ranking officials of NEPSE and CDSC in Sebon today. He also informed that SEBON is ready to provide all kinds of facilitation to make necessary infrastructure to carry out the work at the earliest along with identifying the needs of the structural (manpower and technology) to be made to operate the short selling service. <\/p>\n
Sebon has published Nepal’s Capital Market Development Guide, 2083 and FY 2083. The capital market policy of 84 and its implementation plan have already been made public. Diversification of new tools and services in the capital market has been a priority in SEBON’s policies and programs. <\/p>\n
SEBO today held discussions with the high-ranking officials of NEPSE and CDSC in order to carry out the market development and reform works by executing SEBON’s programs effectively. Discussion FY 2083. The capital market policy of ’84 was focused on the tasks to be performed by NEPSE and CDSC. <\/p>\n
