KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has decided to sell 14.2 kg LP gas cylinders in the market. Issuing a press release on Tuesday, the NOC informed that it will open the sale of 14.2 kg gas cylinder across the country from Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p>Prior to this, the NOC had decided to sell only half weight cylinders i.e. 7.1 kg from March 12, 2002 to avoid shortage of cooking gas and ease the supply. <\/p>\n<p>The NOC has come up with this new arrangement following the improvement in the loading of gas from various bottling plants and refineries of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and the high demand for full-weight cylinders from the consumers. <\/p>\n<p>The price of a 14.2 kg full gas cylinder is Rs. 2,000 is scheduled. <\/p>\n<p>Both 7.1 kg and 14.2 kg cylinders are available in the market as it takes some time to be completely replaced. The corporation has requested the consumers to take the price and weight of LPG only after determining the price while purchasing gas. <\/p>\n<p>The corporation has also urged the consumers to purchase LPG only as per the need and not to store it unnecessarily.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
