The Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) has decided to provide helicopter flights free of cost for the rescue operation in the Kathmandu Valley. <\/p>\n<p>As per the MoU signed between the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) and the association, the NRA would provide helicopter service free of cost if it had to operate flights inside the Kathmandu Valley and at minimum operating cost if it had to fly outside the Kathmandu Valley. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the authority will use drones for search and rescue of people affected by the disaster. As per the agreement, NEA and Nepal Drone Association (NAAN) and Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NAA) have agreed to provide the human resources and equipment free of cost to the authorities for the use of drones and rafts in the time of disaster. <\/p>\n<p>According to the NRA, the agreement was signed with all three organizations on Tuesday.
