The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) made this announcement through a press release today. “The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has drawn serious attention to the problems surfaced in the securities market of Nepal and the complaints of the investors,” the statement reads. \u2019<\/p>\n
According to the press release, securities entrepreneurs and affiliated institutions licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) will be asked to carry out their activities in accordance with the directives issued by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) regarding the effective implementation of margin transaction and market related matters in the stipulated time and to create a more healthy, safe and effective capital market environment. Besides, a periodic review of the existing Securities Act, Securities Registration and Issue Regulations, Corporate Governance Directives and other legal provisions has been initiated to make the public issue process and regulatory system more systematic, reads the statement. <\/p>\n
