The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has started the maintenance and maintenance of transmission lines amidst the flow of electricity in the transmission and distribution lines. NEA has successfully tested 11 KV and 33 KV transmission and distribution lines while they are currently undergoing maintenance. <\/p>\n<p>Former Minister Kulman Ghising expressed happiness that the launch of this project indicates an important step towards making the power system more modern, reliable and consumer friendly. <\/p>\n<p>He recalled that he had started purchasing special equipment, bringing in necessary technology and imparting special training to technical employees when he was in the responsibility of NEA Managing Director. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m very happy to see that effort take shape today,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p>If this technology can be expanded throughout the country, it will eliminate the need to shut off the power supply for hours for routine maintenance. This will provide more reliable and continuous electricity services to industry, business, service sector and general consumers. <\/p>\n<p>He suggested that this practice should not be limited to 11 and 33 kV but should be gradually expanded to high capacity transmission lines.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
