The employees of the banks will not be able to accumulate the compulsory leave of the year. <\/p>\n<p>This provision has been added to the draft prepared by amending the Employees Service Bylaw issued by Nepal Rastra Bank as a model. It has been proposed that the bank employees will be given a minimum of 7 days (in addition to other holidays) with full facilities as determined by the committee on the recommendation of the Employees Service Facilities Committee. &#8220;This leave should be taken continuously,&#8221; the draft proposes, &#8220;This leave cannot be accumulated.&#8221; \u2019<\/p>\n<p>At present, there is no provision to accumulate compulsory leave. <\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the NRB has also proposed in the revised draft regarding maternity leave. &#8220;Now the female employees of banks or financial institutions will be entitled to 14 weeks of full paid maternity protection leave before or after delivery,&#8221; the draft has proposed. However, if maternity leave is insufficient and there is no other leave, such female employee may be granted unpaid leave for a maximum of 1 year on the recommendation of a specialist doctor. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>This arrangement does not exist at present. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, if an employee has to perform the last rites of his or her mother, father, husband, wife and children, he or she can get a funeral leave for up to 15 days. Now, it has been proposed in the draft to provide leave to the employee in case of the death of the in-laws of the employee or during the period of the funeral of his\/her husband or wife according to the total religion. Employees who are on leave will get full salary. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Relief to employees on marriage leave<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>}<\/p>\n<p>In the revised draft, a big relief has been given to the bank employees who are on marriage leave. <\/p>\n<p>The draft has proposed that banks or financial institutions can call and employ employees who have taken leave except those who have taken leave except for employees who are on sick leave, maternity leave, compulsory home leave, marriage leave and sick leave. At present, there is a provision that employees who are on marriage leave can also be called to work as per the need. <\/p>\n<p>In the draft, the rest of the leave can be saved if the work is called in the middle of the holiday period.
