Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Himalayan Life Insurance Limited (LIC) has been organizing various social events throughout the country to mark the completion of 18 years of its establishment and entering into 19th year. In this connection, Himalayan Life Insurance, Dadeldhura Sub-Provincial Office has distributed food and fruits to the students and students dependent on the famous religious and educational site Ugratara Vedvidyashram located in Amargadhi Municipality. <\/p>\n
During the program organized at the Ashram, essential food items like rice, lentils, oil, salt and various seasonal fruits were handed over to the students keeping in mind their daily needs. The company said that this work is done with the aim of taking responsibility towards the society along with business success. <\/p>\n
Deputy Chief of Sudurpaschim Province Tek Raj Acharya elaborated on the importance and necessity of insurance in human life. Noting that insurance is indispensable for the reduction of future risk and economic security, he praised the contribution of the Life Insurance to the social sector along with the business. <\/p>\n
The program was attended by Himalayan Life Insurance’s Dadeldhura branch manager, agency managers, local residents and officials of Vedvidyashram.
